Please help this is the second time my partner has been charged £45 for data roaming costs when data roaming and mobile data is switched off on an iPhone 7 😪 why?

Mobile data might be turned off but has your partner made any calls and in what country are they ?

Hi no calls made we've only used free wifi x

Also when did they turn them off @Tracey_ if waiting til they land that's too late. Also activate flight mode as an extra precaution.

Thank you but we both switched mobile data and roaming off at the same time, I've not been charged but my partner has and we have the same mobile packages, sky have been the worst I've known in over 15 years.

And when did you switch data and roaming off, was it before you left the UK, did you also make any calls to local numbers while there ?
