Transferring data for money off

Looked into the transference of saved data to have money off accessories. Looked at the apple watch for my partner. It said to transfer 20GB and receive £5 off

This is just a ploy by Sky. Its £5 off total price. Not monthly price. It went from £13 a month to £12.86. Hardly a reduction.

Hi @Nornironlad £13 to £12.86 is a reduction, albeit a very small one. You don't have to trade in the data if you don't think it's worth it.

@Nornironlad, Did you honestly think that trading in 20GB of data would get you a £180 discount (equivalent to £5 a month)? If you did, then your expectation is entirely unrealistic.

Well, yes. Realistically, unused data is worth absolutely nothing to a cellular provider while price reductions are a very real hit to their profit margin.
