Data roaming not working and can’t make calls

I have just returned from Spain to the UK where I live and my phone is not working.

it will connect to my home wifi but I can't make calls and data roaming is not working.

data roaming is switched on and I don't have a spend cap.

can anyone help please.

i can't call sky as phone not working and their online help is of no help

If you've very recently returned from abroad try this

Apple:

Settings > Mobile Data > SIM Applications > Make sure this is set to Home.

Android:

Sky Menu App or SIM toolkit > Roaming > Make sure this is set to Home.
