Sky mobile question

I have question about sky mobile, I'm thinking about getting someone a birthday gift, a new phone, however this person is already on sky mobile with an old iPhone 12 from years ago. My question is if I start a new phone contract through me, will they be able to use their current/old sky mobile SIM card on the new phone?

Yes they will be able to but you will be paying for the phone contract throughout the length of the contract as it can not be transferred to anyone else. Your only other option would be to pay off the full cost of the phone either when ordering it or at a later date by calling Sky.
