Roaming passport activated when not roaming

I have roaming turned off on my phone but when I try to make a WiFi call it send me a text to say that the roaming passport has been activated.. I don't even use my data on my phone as it's done through my Vodafone work sim so I should not be charged. Any idea if Sky can remove these charges?

Do you also have mobile data turned off ?

Hi @JamieMardle WiFi calling doesn't work when abroad and converts any calls to normal call which would then trigger the roaming charges.
