Promotional scam

I am constantly rang by an alleged sky mobile promotions number and am offered a free upgrade as I'm nearing the end of my contract

please can someone at sky ring me about this issue as if this is something that is always happening to sky customers I am likely to take my business elsewhere

@Bigjohn2 There is nothing sky can do about it as scammers can easily spoof numbers or claim to be sky and just use a random number dialler to call multiple numbers and hope people will pick up

everyone gets them occasionally some more regularly than others

no one from sky will call you off the back of a forum post as it's not linked to your sky account

Sky won't call you on the back of a forum post, in fact they won't know who you are as you forum log-in isn't linked to any Sky accounts you may have.

If this is a scam there's little Sky can do to prevent it. If you aren't sure call Sky to discuss.
