Getting a new Sky sim only contract

I currently have a sim only Sky contract paying £5.20 per month. I am no loner in contract they are increasing this to £7.20 per month. At the same time they are offering a new deal of 3Gb data for £6.00 per month. My question is can I get the new deal without losing my number?

Two possible ways to do this:

Either call Sky to see if they will apply the offer you to current sim.

If they will not you can order the new sim with that data offer, then get a Pac cto move your number to a PAYG network before obtaining another Pac from them to move it back to this new Sky sim.

No I had an eSIM and a "normal" sim both up and running no bother

I called Sky and have now resoved the situation after they gave me a 30% discount on my current payments for another year. Thanks to everybody who replied to this post.
