Funny how the valuation always seems to match the outstanding value. Not funny that they never honour the valuation. In the past I haven't been bothered to challenge their claims of damage, but this time I know with 100% certainty that the phone had no damage whatsoever. Swap is just a money making scam to entice customers into renewing early.

Hi @PaulGwy77 i never swap, I sell my phone to music magpie etc then use tat to pay off what I owe and normally have some extra left.

I've just experience the same issue with my swap but actually what you've said about trading the device makes far more sense.

Looking on Cex website, my Galaxy S22 phantom white, 256gb, perfect condition would be offered as £208 in cash. That's just over £60 more than Sky offered.

Once Sky have returned my old phone to me which I'm hoping I have back no later than Friday, I may well take it for valuation and I will also fascinated if they can find any "additional damage" to the phone which has caused Sky to drop their valuation by 50%.....
