I need to replace my number with a new number

I contacted sky re a new number and cancel my existing number but instead they have issued a new sim card account which will cost an extra 10 monthly. So instead of paying for one sim, I am now paying for 2 @ £20 monthly. What I wanted was to just change my own number. What should I do?

You can't just change your number as you do have to have a new sim card that will come with a different number. The sim card you have at present can not be cancelled if you have had it for less than 12 months so how long have you had it for ?

I have had it for 3 years and am out of contract with the phone paid off

Then you will need to call them again to ask them to cancel it and if they do not you might want to register a complaint:
