How do I change my 5gb sim card to 3 gb?

Hi @Tonigee login to your account or use the my sky app then go to the mobile tab, tap on the sim in question then tap on manage sim. Now tap on manage settings and the top option of the next page is change data plan. Go in there and all the plan options available to you will be there.

Hi there, yes I have seen the options but it doesn't give you the option to cancel your existing sim and replace with another. I don't want to have 2 sims. Would this be possible?

You can cancel your current sim if you have had it for 12 months or more only by calling Sky on 150. If you then order another one it will have a different number. The only way around this is to order the new sim, and get a pac code for your current number to move it to a PAYG network then get another pac code from the PAYG network to move it back to your new Sky sim with the new data plan on it.

Why do you want to change the sim @Tonigee ? Can you not change to the plan you want in your account ? The method I described above does not involve getting an extra sim.

I have an offer which is due to expire next month. The amount doubles and I am not using the gb. I therefore want to reduce to 3gb.

I have just chosen 2 x 3gb sim cards, but the timer is just going round and round, so I have come out if it. I will try again tomorrow.

Do you not want to keep your current number @Tonigee ? Choosing 2 new sims will come with 2 new numbers ? Do you not just want to change your current plan ?

You can do that on your current sim by following the advice given above.

if you don't want to keep your current sim and number then go to sky.com and choose the plan(s) you want and order them. Any new sims will come with new numbers !
