Please enter the first 2 digits of the bank account ending in used to pay your Sky account.

What does first 2 digits of the bank account ending in used to pay....? Does it mean the last two digits of my sort code? The last two digits of my account number? The fifth and sixth digits of my account number?

Eg if my account number is:

1234 5678

which numbers does it want?

If you are asked for the first two digits of your bank account number then in your example it would be the 1 and 2, as this is not your sort code.

Thank you. That would make sense but what about the "ending in" part of the instruction? Or do you think that's a mistake their end?

I would assume they are saying what the last two digits are so that you can provide them with the first two.

Ahh, I think I get it now. They just weren't showing the ladt digits so I didn't understand. I feel like an idiot. Thank you for your help.

I am still super confused by this question from Sky.

Are they asking for the long number on a debite card or the 8 digit number?

And then is it the first 2 digits? I am confused by the 'ending in' part.

I want to add a mobile contract to my Sky account (already have wifi and tv with sky).

But when I go to 'checkout' it asks for;

'Please enter the first 2 digits of the bank account ending in used to pay your Sky account.'

To confirm I am the account holder.

I pay already via debit card so am just not sure which digits Sky want me to input?

Are they from the long number or the account number? and then what do they mean by 'ending in'.

Any clarification would be appreciated!

From what you have said I would have thought it would be the frst two digits of the debit card number so the long one.

If that does work then try the first two digits of the bank account number that your card would be linked to.
