Won't be home for Sky Mobile delivery

I am getting a Sky Monile delivery but won't really ever be able to be at home during the day to collect it. I have family at home. Can they collect it from the delivery driver? Do they have to have ID with the same surname as me?

Yes they do have to have photo I.D. and the same surname but in my experience the DPD driver doesn't always ask for it but takes a photo of handing it over.

If the driver asks for ID then a family member who has the same surname as you and has their own ID can sign for it in your behalf.
