Is it possible to transfer our old number to the new Sky SIM after activation, or must it be completed prior to activation?

If you old number is with Sky then you can't directly transfer it to your new Sky sim without moving it to another network first so can you confirm which network is your old number with ?

As it is with EE then you can transfer it to Sky whenever you want so long as you didn't cancel it with them, so this is what you need to do:

https://www.sky.com/help/articles/switching-to-sky-mobile-keep-your-number

Activate the Sky sim when it arrives but do not put it in your phone, so keep your current sim in it.

Get pac code from your current supplier

Give Pac code to Sky

When your current sim stops working insert your Sky sim in the phone.

Thank you for your reply! Just to clarify, I’ve already activated my Sky SIM and chose to keep the new number that came with it, instead of transferring my old number at the time. My old number is still active on another phone, but now I’m reconsidering and wondering if it’s possible to transfer that old number to my Sky SIM, which is already activated with a new number. Can this be done after activation?

Yes it can still be done, as all that option was doing was to give you to both activate and to give Sky the pac code at the same time but you can still transfer the number to Sky anytime you want.
