Hi all, I am after some help please. Today I activated a new sim so have the number number however the phone i have it in is currently locked. I have paid a 'mobile unlock' service to unlock it but this hasn't activated yet. I saved the new number in my contacts as it is for my son.. Tonight, I get a Snapchat notification saying that my son is on Snapchat, but he isn't as he is too young. Upon further investigation, it appears someone by the name of Muhammed is using my sons new phone number, but how can this be when I have only activated it today and it doesn't work in the phone yet? Has this got something to do with the phone unlock code I have paid for? Is this a possible scanner that I need to be aware of? How would they have got this number already?. I am not sure how this has happened and if it's something I need to be concerned about..please help

It could be that as all mobile numbers on all networks are recycled then this phone number has been previously used by this other person,if this is the case then when the phone lines open again on Thursday give Sky a call to ask them to cancel this one and to order you another one, and whilst the same would apply (the number being recycled) you would be pretty unlucky if this was to happen with two of them.
