Voicemail can’t be switched off completely. But, to stop people leaving you voicemail messages, turn message recording mode off.

On your phone:

Dial 759.
Press 3.
Press 5.
Press 1.

I am trying to disable voicemail on my phone and have tried to use your solution by dialing 751 but the call just ends before any connection is made whats going on why cant I disable voicemail? and why is voicemail constantly notifying me that there are new voicemails, I find this service extremely annoying as I personally don't use it and it was originally activated recently by my nephew

Im not sure if that is a typo in n your post as the number to call is 759 as you have said 751.

I tried 751 and 759 but both hang up after about 8 seconds 751 was my first attemt tried it a few times then thought 759 might be a be another option as I saw this somewhere else and thought it might work but obviously not, does anyone have an answer that works I am using android phone with graphine os installed

All you can do is to call Sky tomaskmtjem

to do this for you so if you do call remain on the line as long as you can to get past the bot.

Sorry, whjat I meant to say is that all you can do to call Sky on 150 and have them do this for you.

JUst tried to call sky on 150 but it hung up just like 759 it fails to answer, could it be a territorial issue ? I am on sky mobile in Ireland? thanks

Just a question! would you happen to know if a sim card change deactivate the voicemail service even using the same phone number? if so I could request a new sim card, sorry about all the enquires to you but would this work?

Do you mean a replacement sim card that will come with the same number, nobody can say for sure but it could be worth a try. Don't forget that with the Christmas and New Year holidays there might be a delay in getting the sim as they are sent via Royal Mail.

I will try to get it done but if all else fails I will get a replacement sim card and see if that works, all I can say now is I will post the results here, thanks for your help and happy christmas and new year to you....cheers

I am currently in the process of changing my number with Sky, it's very difficult, as there is a reluctance from their team to do it, I have had an awful time trying to cancel my number with them for these past weeks resulting now without a phone number for the past 3 days while I wait for a new simcard and number to arrive by post however after jumping through many hoops and speaking to about 8 reps on the phone its being done as I write this, and yes that voicemail is a nightmare with constant messages and still works even since my sim has been deactivated, ??

I have changed my number and sim card and all was well, no more annoying voicemail notification until recently someone left a voicemail to my new number even though I didn't activate voicemail myself and now there is a voicemail notification every time I reboot my phone, at present I just discard the notification and don't see it again until I restart my phone. It seems to be impossible to get rid of voicemail on Sky mobile in general unless I am missing something ?
