Activating sim for ipad

Hi. Im trying to activate sim for apple ipad air 11 inch 2024 for christmas present. They sent me the esim but didnt work so they sent me a sim. Trying to activate it is very hard work as they send the activation code to the phone number of the sim card however i cant put a sim in the ipad as you cant put them in anymore so im struggling to activate this. Really stressing me out can anybody help. Ive tried to change to esim but thats not working either as in same situation. I cant send code to another number please help. Thanks

Have you called Sky and asked them to activate it for you:

150 is the free number to use from a phone that has a Sky mobile sim in it or Sky Talk phone otherwise under "Need more help ?" link at the bottom of the page on this link is the number to call Sky on:

https://www.sky.com/help/home

Try saying nothing when spoken to by the bot.
