I'm going to Egypt early January what would be the best option phone wise I do not want to come bk to an enormous bill shall I get a WiFi box ? Or is there summit sky would do

The best thing you can do is to get a local sim while out there because you will rack up a large bill should use the Sky sim in your phone. It is advisable to turn your phone off before you leave the UK otherwise charges could be applied as soon as your phone with the Sky sim in it connects to the local network in the country.

Hi @Deborahbrow+90 as mentioned by @caesarome it's very easy to wrack up a large bill if you are roaming in a non £2 charge country. I normally turn off roaming and mobile data then put the phone in flight mode, this should be done before leaving the UK. Then when at your destination if there is free WiFi just turn WiFi back on, nothing else.

Sky do not have any offering for such roaming. It's 'rest of world' tariff only.

As noted, either use WiFi or find a provider who offers a package.
