iPhone 16 sim issue

Hi, I was under the impression Sky mobiles were unlocked.???

I've just purchased an Iphone16 but my Three sim will not work in it, I didn’t have this issue with my 15pro from Sky?

All I get is four little dots in the signal bar.

All phones from Sky should be unlocked so give this a try if you have activated the sim:

Settings > General > Transfer or Reset [Device] > Reset > Reset Network Settings. You will need to set up your Wifi connection again.

I presume you'd have to apply APN settings for the Three SIM.

Sorry, I misread your post so no you don't need to activate your EE sim.

Correct as you need the APN settings installed so it is worth a try. If that doesn't work then as the sim is for EE you would need to ask them about this.

Well in conclusion you Cannot use a three sim in an iPhone 16.

You can use any sim in an iphone 16 so are you still having the same issues, what have EE said when you contacted them about this ?

Three have told me my sim is too old, despite being the correct fitting size. 🤷‍♂️🤷‍♂️

Sounds a load of nonsense to me so ask them to send you a replacement "new" one.

Infuriating, Been to the Three shop, they have no idea why it does t work, seen the guy in the Sky stand in the shopping centre and they have no idea either.
