Transferring old sky sim to new sky sim

I have just got a new iphone with a sim card different to an old sky sim one that was on a family plan. When I go to activate my sim card with a pac number it says that it can't use a sky sim card. Any tips on how to resolve this? I would like to keep my old number with my new sim plan.

@Josh3312 You can't transfer numbers between sky sims

your options are

transfer the number you want to keep out to another payg provider then transfer back in again onto the correct sky sim

ask sky if they will transfer your new plan onto the existing sim (sky don't have to allow this all you can do is ask the question)
