I am wanting to upgrade my phone and my bill is due to come out the 25th of November. What is the soonest I can order it, but having it on my December bill rather than November?

A mobile bill is created about 14 days before the billing date so if you order from the 9th November onwards it should be to late for it to be added to this months bill. Don't forget you also have to factor in how long it takes to get to you because with Christmas not far away the more popular models can sometimes take a while to be dispatched due to stock availability issues from the manufacturers.

Thanks so much. Just ordered now incase it gets delayed. Can I ask, as this is a gift.. he currently has the iPhone 12 with sim. I've just bought him the 16 for Christmas. On Christmas Day will it just be a case of putting the sim in and it working or do I need to do anything with it?

You can just move the sim to this new iPhone. You might receive a new sim with it so you do not need to activate this one otherwise you could be charged for it and end up paying for two sims.
