Cashback with Halifax

Morning,

I have a cashback reward on my halifax current account that explains you get £40 cashback when signing up for a new contract with Sky Mobile on direct debit - which I did yesterday. How will Halifax know I've done this in order to recieve the cashback please? Has anyone done this and been successful? The T&C's are very vague

I presume by the DD mandate made out to Sky. I would assume at least one payment needs to be made from it.

@LauraMac1 Have you asked Halifax as it's their offer not Sky's.

Hi thank you so much for your reply, I did wonder if this would be the case but there's no confirmation of it anywhere in the T&C's that Halifax direct you to on Sky's website. The link for more information directs you to Sky as the cashback would be paid by them I'd imagine. I guess I'll just wait and see if it appears following my first direct debit.

Hello, thank you for your reply. When you press for more information through Halifax it directs you to Sky and says to see the T&C's on their website but I can't seem to find anything about it. Just wondered if anyone had had any success with it as I've seen such deals on the cashback rewards on Halifax for some time.

I had a similar offer from NatWest.

The cashback simply appeared... So fingers crossed!
