iPhone 16 - compatibility with eSIM

I am looking at buying an iPhone 16 in the US. They do not have a physical slot for a sim so it has to be an eSIM. I have looked on the sky website and the iPhone 16 is not listed as compatible with eSIM. (The Irish sky website says it is compatible). Is the 16 compatible with eSIM in the UK?

Hi we are in New York and contemplating doing the exact same thing but not sure if Sky mobile will allow us to us eSIM on the iPhone 16.

Hi @david.swales and @Tim111 the iPhone 16 is now listed as compatible on the sky UK website.
