Pixel 6 Pro WiFi Calling

Hi there does anyone know how to get WiFi calling working on pixel6 pro I have been reading that this was sorted after the last update but I still don't seem to have the option on my phone.

Anyone got any ideas?

Was the phone purchased from Sky?

Hi, Nope the phone wasnt purchased from Sky.

I see that the pixel 7 and above is now working for wifi calling but still doesnt seem to be working on my 6 pro 😞

Sky will only guarantee the WiFi calling (for supported models) if it was purchased from them. That's not to say it won't work but you may find their support unresponsive.

One to watch out for: If you didn't get your phone from us, it might not be compatible with Sky Mobile Wi-Fi calling. To check, set up Wi-Fi calling and try making a call over Wi-Fi. If the ‘Wi-Fi call’ indicator doesn’t show, then your phone isn’t compatible.

Interestingly the Pixel 6 isn't listed on their compatibility list...

I maybe wrongly assumed that the pixel 7 wasnt working till last months update... so assumed the 6 pro would work at the same time...
the phone is capeable of wifi calling - maybe it's just sky don't care about getting older models working?

either way.. it's very annoying.. if they dont support it soon I think I am going to have to change networks for the whole family 😞
