Voice note on imessage

Hi, I have recently moved back to Sky mobile from Lyca and since swapping I am not able to use the voice note function on iMessage or WhatsApp. Any ideas how to resolve this please?

I resolved this by toggling on voice control in settings then toggled off and am now able to send voice notes. This may have been a glitch with my phone
