Me and my wife have separate Sky mobile accounts, both with iPhones and have done for a few years now.

For a few months now we are both struggling with 4G showing but not working. It can be in the house, down the road, outside or inside. It shows 4G but we're both finding a webpage won't load, or WhatsApp won't connect. Never had a problem before but the past few months it's been really evident. We've also noticed the phone signal in the house is worse, now only able to have a call without it cutting out in certain areas, usually by a window or front door.

As mentioned, seperate accounts, finding the same issue in different parts of the area we live, outside and inside. I have a separate work mobile on EE with no issues.

Why has Sky mobile become so poor?

I have noted exactly the same problem. Last couple of months. Areas of good signal strength but no internet traffic possible. Lasts minutes to half an hour. Completely random. Very frustrating. No change in any of the settings or rebooting makes any difference.

If anybody else out there is having the same issue it's worth reporting to try and get some traction with sky.
