If you want to keep your number then you have gone about this the wring way as you have ordered the new data plan on a new sim which will mean a new number so you have two options:

Either keep using your original sim and see if you can upgrade the data plan on that by selecting "keep my current number" when doing this.

Or activate the new sim with the new data plan which will mean a new phone number.

Or call Sky to see if they will apply the new plan you want against your current sim and if they do ask them to cancel the new one you ordered. If they will not do this then there is a work around which will involve using a Pac against your current sim to transfer it to a PAYG network then transfer it back to the new sim with the new data plan on it.

If you don't activate the new sim within 30 days it will be cancelled.

Hi, me, my mum and dad have been a sky customer for the last 3 years and have just upgraded our 3 phone.. However when ordering the new upgrades, we changed all the data plans to make it more affordable. I've been sent a new sim but when I try to activate my new sim it requires a pac or stac code for me to proceed. I don't have either of these because I was previously a sky member and want to keep my number. I would put my old sim into my new phone but due to the new sim being a different data plan and in a different email address I doubt this will work. Can anyone possibly help please?
thanks !
