Did you take photos of your phone to prove it was not damaged before you sent it back ?

I've just had a notification from Sky to say the device I returned as part of my

Mobile swap is of a lower value then expected due to damage. The phone was in perfect condition, how can I find out what damage they've found to understand why the swap price has lowered? Help! Thanks!
