a person wanted to have discovery plus as part of their sky package.

what happened was the person was already paying for a separate discovery plus subscription and that discovery plus acclunt had the same email as their sky account and they weren't having it for free via their sky package.

so what i did was I deleted the paid discovery plus account and then i tried to sign in to discovery plus with sky details but its saying the account doesnt exist presumably because the email is the same as the discovery plus email.

so I need help

Good morning

You need to make a Discovery+ account again with the email you need to use. You then activate Discovery+ via the MySky app and then link it to the account, that will then be recognised as the payment method and allow you to use Discovery+ again.

Hello

I've made a new discovery plus account and when I go onto My Sky, it says 'discovery+ entertainment is already yours'. is it possible to remove discovery+ from the package and add it back whilst keeping the free offer? I think if I can do that, then I will get the option to link this new account.

No, do not do that.

Contact Sky and ask them to reset the email you've linked it to, and give them the account details you need it to be linked to, or simply use the email you've already got it on.

Edit: For the record, if someone is paying for a streaming service and wishes to stop, cancel the sub, don't delete the account. I feel that you've had the account linked already and this has absolutely messed it up.

Contact Sky, ask what email address your Discovery+ via Sky is linked to. If it is indeed the account that was deleted, ask them to remove that link so you can make a new Discovery+ account and start the process of linking it again. If it's a different email, then you have this option aforementioned, or use that account on Discovery+ directly.
