Bass overload

Brand new SkyGlass Gen.2, The bass on the volume is overpowering and I can't find any controls that can reduce it.any advice would be very appreciated!

@Roger2212 Check settings Menu --> Scroll down the options to see if bass boost is enabled.

Not enabled. Are there no normal controls for adjusting bass/treble etc?

@Roger2212 You could try Night Mode

To change your sound settings:

Press the … three dots options menu button on your Sky remote.
Select Night mode or Enhance speech.

Press the Home button .
Scroll down to select Settings.
Select Picture & sound, then Sound.

I've tried all those but the bass is still booming. I hope that I don't just to live with it. Thanks for trying to help.👍

A fundamental design element and selling point of Sky Glass Gen 2 is the pair of bass drivers (doubled from the Gen 1) : if you are sensitive to low frequencies then this may not be the set you were looking for...

Thanks, for your response. Before buying the SkyGlass, I scoured all the reviews for all the "quality" tv's currently available. The Sky Glass Gen2 sounded by far the best, particularly featuring its "Terrific Soundbar". I couldn't believe it, after installing the tv, that it had no significant sound adjustment controls. It must be the only comparable tv without these options. Oh well, you live and learn! I'll probably keep it for a few months hoping that I learn to like it, if not I can always change again!

Perhaps keep in mind you've a month from activation to reject the set and return it for a refund (apart from a £25 fee)

A Stream puck would deliver the same Sky content to the television set of your choice.

As @TimmyBGood confirms, don't worry about the box. If you do decide to return the Glass TV the couriers will re-package it for return. Most importantly though, take several photos of the TV before they take it away, just so you have proof of the condition it was in when it left you. There have been several reports of couriers mis-handling these TVs during the returns process and customers being charged for damage they did not cause.
