My sky stream is lagging watching the football. Noticed it last few matches during World Cup. I'm seeing goals/updates on social media before it shows on my tv

Streaming is always behind traditional and satellite broadcasting, there is no way around that due to the technology.

However during the world cup there are Real Time BBC and ITV channels available on Sky, being broadcast using slightly different technology which reduces the delay in streaming to only a couple of seconds behind the more traditional broadcasting methods.
