Since Friday anything I'm watching on ITV player isn't clearing off my CW rail. The progress bar isn't showing either all it keeps doing is saying next episode even though there isn't a next episode. Ever since changing from Sky Q I've had nothing but problems with Sky Glass. Anyone else having the issue of programmes not clearing from there CW rail?

You are not alone something amiss between Sky and ITVX app for days. Prime also not working for 3 months maybe longer. On top of that Playlist in a right mess since this morning reboot does nothing I'm hoping they'll return later. I'm just pleased I always keep my Apple TV up to date alongside Sky.

Same issue since Friday. watched Friday's episodes of Coronation Street and Emmerdale and they still haven't been removed. I didn't bother reporting it because quite frankly if you reported every issue you'd be here every day Lol

I've noticed within the itvx app anything I've watched this weekend despite being fully viewed and FF through the titles still says continue watching below the episode in yellow within itvx. This does not happen on itvx via Apple or my LG tv or my Samsung tv.

So.... I believe there is an error with t h e itvx app on the Sky platform. This is a problem with itvx and not Sky whereby itvx is not updating items as completed when reading back to the Sky servers.

Hopefully this will be picked up and rectified ASAP.

Is it a particular set of programmes your having an issue with?

My two ITVx weekly Auto Mundial and Motorsport Mundial, that I have playlisted and normally watch later evening on Sunday from their early morning appearance, behave well in continue watching if I do not finish or do finish.

Not much else that I normally have to compare.

The only think I find with ITVx and BBC is sometimes you have to be quick exiting the programme as it ends, so it does not play out the next random one. Do not do that, often, but did one the other day and wondered for a few seconds why a prog I never watch appeared in the continue rail.

Can you though please report your ITVx continue watching reports with a list of examples to the VR team.

So Sky working with ITV can work with some examples.

Sending an email to
ViewerR@sky.uk

I have. Auto play turned off on all devices so nothing continues without me wanting it. I don't watch a huge amount on ITVX but currently have 3-4 things on the go and no updates with CW rail with any of them.

For your awareness, the Autoplay option in Sky Stream/Glass settings only has an effect on Sky On demand and/or Sky OS playout content.

It does not set any parameters within third party apps, like ITVx. The ITVx app has no autoplay removal, much like other apps do not. That function is down to the individual apps, with their main base code shared across many devices, not specific for the Sky OS.

If you have contacted VR, all I can suggest is you email them again, with a more detailed reply for them to pass on to the Sky 'playout' team, which may not be instant, but will be logged and checked.

If you also find or see there are others, having similar issues than yourself over the next few days or week, feel free to flag them with a link to their thread in this thread and with such a customer trend, we can flag this thread to Sky in our closed area.

It's absolutely ridiculous how often this happens and all you ever get told is refresh your apps and if that does t work reset your TV, none of it works so theres no point at all. They even said they thought it was my TV and sent me a new TV but I knew it wasnt the TV and didn't accept it as it happens constantly.
