Just lately we have been having problems with the volume on our glass (first generation) tv

at times we cannot adjust the volume then all off a sudden it jumps up to full volume and you can't turn it down. You either have to press the standy button, when occasionally the the tv has frozen we have to run to the tv and rip the power lead out of the back of the tv.

When the volume doesn't work everything else does like home button etc

We live in a flat so can't keep having this happen. We have had the tv 3.5 years and never really had any issues like some.
