    <description>&lt;P&gt;Thanks &lt;a href="https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/3472922"&gt;@2muchTV&lt;/a&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It's not really the length of time I've had the tv that is the issue to me, it's that Sky forced an update, which crashed the tv &amp;amp; are now almost washing their hands - saying i need to pay nearly £500 for something that wasn't my fault.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If they say the TV is 'mine', then surely it is then my choice to do a software update &amp;amp; shouldn't be forced??&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Anyone managed to get Sky to fix a 'software error' blue screen?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Tried several soft / hard reboots on own &amp;amp; with sky help, no change.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Out of warranty &amp;amp; in last 6 months of contract.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is it time to stick with Sky? Or move elsewhere?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Just an update .. still without a working SkyGlass tv.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Bought an ethernet cable in an attempt to force an update without wifi.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;No change, now escalated to Sky Glass team (??) .. and a callback arranged for weekend.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;This has been a nightmare.. I have read another thread on here where Sky look to have agreed that there isn't a fix for software error blue screen &amp;amp; as that customer's tv was in warranty, was provided with a new one.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Yet, they've been 'pulling my chain' with reboot after reboot in the hope that i pay £474 for a replacement, as mines is out of warranty.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If you are looking to buy a Sky Glass tv of any type, I'd honestly say NO &amp;amp; just buy a normal tv..&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

Having said this, all my TVs (with the exception of my Samsung OLED) are at least 7 years old and (touch wood) &amp;nbsp;going strong.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;Best of luck whatever you decide.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
