@YoungG

The playlist on SkyOS has always been somewhat random, never 100% reliable. Much of this is down to the server-based nature of the platform Sky/Comcast have chosen to host their service on.

All the apps and all of Sky's own content are hosted on these servers and with more and more customer switching to Sky Stream and Glass, they get congested. An app needs to send a notification of where a customer is up to in a programme or whether they have watched it completely to SkyOS, so that it can then update the customer's Continue Watching rail.

If the server is congested, with lots of people viewing at the same time, or a customer's home broadband network suffers a small bit of interference or speed fluctuation, the connnection to the server can be broken, even if just for a second, and this can affect how or if a correct viewing log is stored.

There's not a lot you can do about it, other than try to maintain as fast and stable a home network as you can, and by being slow and diligent with how you exit an app. Make sure you watch right to the end of the credits, don't crash out of an app back to the home screen. Give it a few seconds to log your viewing and send the information to the server and have it logged on your SkyOS account so that your Continue Watching rail can successfully be populated.

Being slow and methodical with how you use Sky Stream and Glass can really help give a smoother experience.

We have been having issues with our playlist! Last week we had an issue where our playlist completely disappeared, it wasn't showing anything we had added, or only 3/4 shows. Then randomly they would all show again, then when checked again they would have gone again. Tried everything unplugging our stream pick, resetting WiFi nothing seemed to work. Then eventually it all came back on. We had no issues for 3 days, worked perfectly fine but now it's happened again, most of our playlist has gone again. Is anyone having the same issues?

Same issue has appeared on my TV as well! it has suddenly shown programs from UTV, Disney, Discovery, Hbo, all with full blue bars mean I technically already watched the programs. also new episodes of Emmerdale and Chloe have not appeared today because it's stuck on that one which re-appeared.

it's about time they actually started trying to improve the CW Rail, instead of getting daily bug reports from users but then saying it's not a priority of theirs!

Same problem here, yesterday morning all programmes vanished and this morning showing programmes from a while ago with solid bue lines showing they had been watched;. Such a shame that SKY seem to put the problems with the continue watching on the back burmer as this spoils what, I feel, is a very good product

Exactly any it gets to a point where it's just completely frustrating. the problem always seems to be third-party apps. at this point, I wouldn't mind if they only showed sky channels in the CW Rail, until they can fix the bloody thing

I contacted sky and they said it sounds like an issue with my TV so they are sending me a new one. I told them I very much doubt the TV is the issue as its affecting lots of other people but they seem to think my TV may have been damaged in transit as I have only had it 5 weeks. I said I didn't have any issues when I first got it so it's obviously not the TV but the guy was adamant that it was. I know I will probably be posting on here again in the next few weeks.
