Hi @HP41

Given we are fellow customers on the community, not sure any one can advise. However it does seem reasonable that if you are paying fully for it, it should be returned to you.

However, the best course of action would be to seek independent, professional advice from somewhere like Citizens Advice or Which.

You could try making a complaint: https://www.sky.com/help/your-account/making-a-complaint/how-to-make-a-sky-complaint/articles/how-to-make-a-complaint#message-us-only

But as you say you don't have any proof that it was AIT that damaged it rather than yourself.

MikeAlanR

Hello.

A few weeks ago i returned a sky glass air medium

i was an idiot and didn't take any photos or videos of the item before packing it up into the box (it was set up for less than twelve hours)

so now sky are claiming damages to the tv upon it's return. I have accepted that there is no way out of this due to me not having proof.

what i would like to know is:

if i pay the £509 bill i am due for the tv i should be entitled to the tv back as technically i own the product? Surely they cant legally charge me £509 and keep the tv regardless of the "damage" that was caused.

can someone advise?

i have attached the only photo i have of the tv in my house which i doubt sky will accept as proof.

thank you
