Is there a way to make the UI for SkyGlass more accessible for older folks?

I set up our SkyGlass today for my grandparents and I'm worried about them struggling to use it since they struggled it bit with SkyQ after having that for years.

I'm worried they'll find it difficult to access the TV channels.

There are a number of accessibilty options within Sky Stream.

Unfortunately there's no way for a user to either reduce the complexity of the Home screen or have the set default to the numbered EPG on startup: personally I've long argued that Sky is really missing something there.

I've looked at these already and none are helpful unfortunately.

I've already had my grandparents ask me to plug back in the SkyQ box since they're struggling to navigate the menus of Sky Glass.

That really is a shame, you'd think it'd have something like that under the accessibility options to make menus simpler. It might be better for us if we ask to cancel the Sky Glass and go back to SkyQ.

Sadly Sky is extremely protective of its UI and appears to be totally inflexible on the issue, which is a real shame as creating a simpler interface for accessibility could also be very beneficial for PR purposes.
