I have a similar issue. 55' purchased February 2024 and issue arose November 2025. What an absolution of responsibility and accountability and slap in the face. I am still paying TV off and said I would cancel repayments and they said they would call in debt collection agency. I said ok I'll give them this TV but they said no they would come for cash. Shocking customer service. They should not be making TV's that flies get in to.

If it was shipped like that then it should be rejected and replaced.

If it's happened within the two years warranty, I'd suggest arguing with Sky that it should be treated as a mechanical defect because wildlife shouldn't be able to get in there.

Outside the warranty there's probably not any good solution short of judicious dismantling and reassembly and that may not be possible depending on how the panel layers were put together.

They had their TV replaced under warranty as soon as the problem was raised and verified.

It's got nothing to do with 'nature', it's got everything to do with a poorly fitted LCD panel. These things should not have gaps large enough for a fly to squeeze through.
