Sky Glass Remote not connecting

We've been having trouble with the Sky Glass TV for about a week now!! Not been able to change the volume it's either really loud or really quiet when the tv gets turned on and then if you press anything on the remote, it makes whatever your watching glitch and freeze a few times before it catches up with itself. Got a replacement remote to see if that was the issue, so just pressed 7&9 on the current remote to disconnect it, then did 1&3 several times on the new remote and nothings happening, tried to reconnect the older remote and now nothings happening with that one!

Hi @HannahJS

try the below

The remote can be reset and paired again following these steps;

Press and hold 7 and 9 together on your Sky remote for three seconds.
Press and hold 4 and 6 together for three seconds.
Press and hold 1 and 3 together for three seconds and follow the on-screen instructions.

Thanks @Jporch316 this didn't work either and now the voice control of saying "Hello Sky" doesn't work so now can't watch anything at all! Left it unplugged for half an hour but didn't make a difference

I would suggest you call sky for troubleshooting- hopefully your tv is still within your 2 year warranty

The may talk you through a master reset (shouldn't be done without sky on the phone)

Just in case anyone else is having the same issue, I rang Sky and they talked me through a factory reset and everything works perfectly now
