Advice on what to do with Glass

Hi!

I have recently split with my wife and left the property that has Glass with the Ultimate Package and Netflix in it.

I need some advice on what I can do to either cancel or change it over to new owner (ex Wife)

The TV is still inside the CCA until 2027 I believe. What are my options as I really dont want to be paying a huge amount for a piece of equipment that is inside a house I cannot go back to!

Been a Sky Customer since I was 18 (Now 42) so would love some advice if possible as I am not too techy with the ins and outs!

I'm afraid that if it was you who signed up to the loan agreement to pay for the Glass TV then you will be the one who is liable to complete the payments for the TV. I don't believe there's an ability to transfer the credit agreement to someone else.

The Streaming TV service received by the Glass TV can sometimes be reduced from Ultimate to Essential TV in order to save money but this will depend on the initial contract you signed.

The only other option you have is to ask to terminate the streaming TV service, get the Glass TV sold (they have a low resale value) and use any money you make to pay off a chunk of the CCA early, but you must continue to pay any remaining cost of the TV until it is paid in full.

Hi @XALIVEVIL1

As @BenJoBanjo states you can cancel your TV subscription (unless you are in a minimum term) and your ex can take a new subscription out. See: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/buying-sky-glass-second-hand

However the hardware isn't a HP arrangement, it's a loan for the amount. Transfer of ownership of the TV transfered to you upon receiving it, therefore you are liable for the loan repayments.
