Looking to get rid of sky glass as it's to expensive to run just wanna keep broad band

The TV belongs to you. If you are still paying off the loan for it then you must continue to do so. You can sell it if you like (resale value is minimal) but the finance agreement is still in your name and you must pay it off.

If you purchased it outright or have completed the finance payments then you are free to sell it. Just remember to factory reset it before sale.

You will also need to cancel your streaming TV subscription, whether it's Essential TV or Ultimate TV. To do this you'll need to call Sky. If you signed up to a 24 month contract and haven't fulfilled it then you'll need to demonstrate to Sky a reason for not wishing to continue paying for it. This would have to be technical related or due to issues you have with the service.

No. You purchased the TV. It's not like Sky Q or Sky Stream where you are loaned a box to receive the service, with Sky Glass you are purchasing a TV which you own from the moment you start paying for it.

The only time customers have been able to give it back to Sky is if they can somehow demonstrate that it is not performing as advertised or is not fit for purpose. You can't give it back because it's too expensive. You agreed to the price when you signed the contract.

It's not on hire. The unsecured personal loan used for hardware purchase has a defined number of payments to clear the balance (unless paid off early and in full) and the content subscription has a minimum term unless the more expensive rolling monthly option is chosen.
