TV keeps going blank for a second then comes back on again

TV has staeted to day to go blank every 30 seconds or so only for a second then comes back on again. It seems to skip back a scond each time but it only does this on live TV not on Netflix or any down loaded program!!

@have you tried pulling the plug for a few minutes or going into settings then restart
