There's not much point getting Sky Glass if you're not going to use the built-in soundbar and want to connect a console. You can get much better TVs for the same money which will give you much more versatility, faster refresh rates and better screen technology. A Sky Stream puck attached to it will give you an identical fully streamed Sky TV service as you'd get on Glass, but with many more options.

It might be worthwhile reading this article to give you some idea. I can recommend John Lewis or Richer Sounds for TV purchases - they offer free 5 or 6 year warranties with all TVs they sell. Sky Glass only comes with a 2 year warranty.

If you're interested in the long term interest free payment for a Glass TV then it's certainly worth considering. Just bear in mind that if you opt for a 4 year payment plan and the TV has an issue after 2 years, you will be liable for any repair/replacement costs unless you take out an extended Sky Protect warranty at extra cost.

I'm thinking of changing to sky glass as my dish is knackered and doesn't have a signal , I already have a decent Dolby atmos system so will need to connect that and not use the internal glass audio .

i also need to connect my PC and Xbox to the glass .

is this all possible

thanks

mark

It's worth considering that by purchasing Glass rather than Glass Air or Stream you'd be paying a significant premium to get the speaker array and custom enclosure which you aren't using.

i also need to connect my PC and Xbox to the glass .

Glass has three HDMI ports. Note that it's perhaps not ideal for really serious gaming as 120Hz still isn't supported.
