Hi,

so I am thinking of getting the Sky Glass Gen 2. I currently have Gen 1. So two questions:

1. Does it have an Ethernet connection?
My WiFi isn't great to be honest but with Ethernet it works much better.

2. Does Gen 2 use more bandwidth than Gen 1? I've read something about WiFi 6 compatible which I get is a router but does it require a better router?

No, because the content being viewed is the same as the Gen 1 model (unless, for example, UHD has been added to the subscription and wasn't there before)

No. The Gen 1 was also specified as WiFi 6, which is generally backwards compatible to earlier wireless hardware (although WPA3 encryption may well not be)

Although that USB-A only intended for a very specific use (external Conditional Access Module verification in countries have such technology) and won't work for more typical smart television USB purposes.
