Hi @KevNewMedia – did you ever get a response to this? I and many others it seems are still having this problem – every night the screen lights up for maybe 2/3 seconds at a time and then turns off again, it's completely random.

Hi @mrwwt I had thought that the problem had been resolved. Can you tell me when you last saw this? The nearest time that you can provide, the better, and I'll pass the information to the team.

Its really hard to catch - it's just random and only last literally aboit 2/3 seconds. Last night it flickered on and off at 1:58am.

Thanks very much for the examples @mrwwt

Workaround:

Some people have found by switching off the mic on the TV, this seems to resolve the issue. We continue to investigate and provide a fix, however if this is troublesome for you, this may help to stop the problem temporarily. If you do this, you can still use voice control through your remote control.

We had this happening last night on our Sky Glass Air, screen would flash really bright (thought it was lightening outside initially) then screen backlight would turn on for about a second (nothing on the screen) then would go off again. Seemed to do it every 5 minutes or so. Restarting device did not solve it so powered off in the end. On software build version QS038.003.00P.

have turned the microphone off and see how it is tonight, suspect won't notice it again until room is dark.
