Hi there

For the past week or so I've had persistent WiFi issues with our Sky glass gen 1.. On Tuesday evening we had no TV from about 7pm until the following morning, Although intermittent at first it seems to be happening every couple of hours now. Tried all things recommended on the help bit, Reset both tv and broadband with no resolve. Every other device in the house is working fine and nothings changed for the signal to be blocked!

Help!

Hi @Lyndsey45

Who is your ISP? There have been issues with EE broadband and their DNS recently and as a result of a software update to EE routers. This has been affecting hardwired and wireless connections.

If not, your router may have changed channel etc, you could try setting the channel manually or using an ethernet cable (and turning WiFi off in the glass settings) and see if this improves stability.

MikeAlanR

Hi there

I'm with sky! Every time we run a check it says all is ok. It's happened again today and we've again had to switch the tv off at the mains then back on. Every other device in the room remained connected. It's becoming a nightmare

Lyndsey

I have exactly the same issue - it is beyond a joke. And currently receiving absolutely horrendous service from Sky with not 1, but 2 no-shows after an engineer booking in the last 2 weeks - so we are stuck. I sense that this gen1 TV is probably nnow legacy hardware and not fit for purpose anymore. If you have managed to get any reasonable answers please do share here.
