We were due an installation of Sky Glass yesterday (Monday the 1st of September) the engineer didn't arrive. Can you let me know what's happening with the installation

@AlenH Sky Glass does not have enginer installation, it's self setup system

Has your Glass TV been delivered? If you asked for installation from the delivery company AIT it is them you need to contact.

Very few 'Sky Installers' ever had engineering degrees or backgrounds. They also don't directly install Sky Glass themselves - this is outsourced to a delivery company who will usually just drop and run.

This is also just a customer forum, Sky won't read or react to your message (unless you express wrongfink in your messages here). You'll need to get in touch directly with customer services.

The deployment model for Glass (a product developed after Sky ceased to be an independent company and became an overseas division of the Comcast Corporation) is entirely different to that for the legacy satellite platforms.

Sky UK has been downsizing its field workforce in anticipation of satellite television broadcast to UK & RoI ending in a few years time: Glass and Stream mean the van with a ladder on the roof is no longer required.
