Yeah the colors are absolutely awful, it's especially bad with orange and red. The whole screen seems to be made of orange and red colors now

Hi all hoping somebody can help. Had my picture set to auto for many months. Suddenly last week Sky F1 UHD has become really vivid - colours are way too bright. Spanish GP last Sunday was fine but the Indycar race Sunday night was awful to look at and it's still the same now. Other channels still look fine. Any ideas?

Honestly I think you're better off not using the auto setting. If you have a Gen 1 Glass TV then there is a useful calibration that has been done in the past to get the best out of the TV. My advice is to follow the instructions and then tweek the settings a little to suit your own taste.

Answered: Sky Glass calibrated MEASURED settings | Sky Community

I've got the same problem with the F1 Channel on Sky Glass Gen2. The colours are so vivid it's almost impossible to watch.

I have sky Q, and I can confirm that the F1 UHD channel has terribly over-bright colours. I compared it with the Sky Sports Main Event UHD channel when both happend to be playing the same advert and there is a stark contrast.

Things seemed to have improved since the Belgium Grad Prix on the 27 July 2025. Programmes originally broadcast before then still seem to have colour problems and the colours on many of the adverts are still too vivid. However, fingers crossed new programmes on the F1 Channel are now watchable..

I'm having the same issue. Red and orange are just ridiculously bright. To the point where you can't see the sponsors logos in the cars when they are not stationary.
Does anybody know of a fix for this? All other UHD channels are fine

I don't think there is any fix for it. The fix is whoever controls the F1 UHD feed having somebody tell him or her that they have no taste or any idea of color balance.
