Hi,

I've paid for ad skipping, however when I add something to my playlist I can't skip the adds! Please help!

The only shows you can fully ad skip are sky shows

otherwise the ad skipping allows you to fast forward most ad breaks

the exceptions being Netflix, prime etc where you have to pay for the ad free tiers

the shows are on my playlist from itv, sky Atlantic, C4,C5 won't let me fast forward the ads.
what's the point of the playlist if you can't skip them? When I had skyQ I 'recorded' shows so that I could fast forward that's the function I want?

They will let you fast forward if you have the ad skipping ap. sky Atlantic will have a button on screen "skip ads" that you press. The other shows you mention you can forward by pressing the right hand side of the circle button on your remote. Either the ad skipping pack has not been added to your subscription (you can check this on my sky app) or you may need to restart your puck either via the settings or pulling the plug for a a few minutes
