Stv player dissappeared on sky glass

Had stv player on my sky glass from day one then 6 months ago it disappeared and never came back done app refresh reboots unplugs hundreds of times now stv player have told me its not down to them no problems there end done everything from factory reset i arnt doing any help?

Hi @Mattvale and welcome to the forum. The STV App certainly should be visible on your Apps rail and I would have suggested an App refresh but I see you have already tried that.

Lets see if you can access it a different way. On your homescreen, where you see the Playlist rail select the TV Shows button. About 15 rails down you will see a rail called Channels (not the Sky Channels rail which is different). Hopefully you will find the STV button on that rail.

If not then I would suggest you call Sky for some further troubleshooting.

Not a subscriber anymore so no playlist spoke to sky no help there either everything else all fine

I have just checked the apps rail on both my gen 1 and gen 2 sky glass tvs and my puck and the stv player is there on all of them and working, try going to settings, system management open it go to reset and update and refresh apps and click on that and see what happens

@peter-marlow+1966 Hi Peter, if I understood the post above correctly the poster no longer subscribes to Sky so doesn't gets all the full range of Apps any longer 🤷‍♂️

Have everything except playlist and epg crunchyroll app apeared not long ago when refreshed apps but find it odd that just stv player suddenly dissappeared and never came bk no matter what do
