Make sure there's two of you to assemble the TV if you haven't paid extra for that.

Other than that it's just a case of plug in, switch on and connect to your broadband.

Some would say to connect using an ethernet cable between the TV and router as it provides a more stable connection. If you do that, make sure to turn off WiFi in the settings menu.

@Brian999

It's delivery by non-Sky courier driver(s), not an 'engineer on site' visit, and the drivers don't set up Stream pucks.

If you paid extra for the Premium delivery service at point of order you get the Glass television carried to a particular room, unboxed, put on its stand and lifted onto furniture, with the packaging being removed if you request this. Without the Premium service the couriers can legitimately just leave the set at the doorstep.

This wasn't the case with the Gen 1 model where delivery, unboxing, stand assembly, furniture placement and carton removal were included in the hardware purchase price (but presumably dented the Sky profit margin)

The operational model for Glass & Stream is fundamentally different to the historic Sky broadcast platforms and there's neither initial or ongoing 'engineer' support for them at all, mostly because the absence of satellite dish and associated feed cabling means there's no need to employ, train and insure skilled (and expensive) personnel to wield ladder, signal meter and drill.

Both Glass and the Puck are designed to be plug in and play products. Both are very simple to set up normally. If there are any issues then people on here can help to a degree but calling Sky's Technical Department might save time.
